GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) swung for improved relations with the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) by participating in the very first AFAB Administrator & CEO Golf Tournament on January 27, 2024.
GNPD President & CEO Dennis B. Jordan was joined by several AFAB stakeholders, partners, and locators, such as Petron Corporation, Dong-in Entech Co. Ltd., Gurufin and PhilCement. Executives and top leaders of the companies were invited to compete in the tournament held at Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club, Lubao, Pampanga.
AFAB Administrator & CEO Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman expressed how he enjoyed playing with the respective business leaders. He disclosed there will be more tournaments in the future, such as a shooting competition.
“We at AFAB are aggressive in marketing our Freeport, and hopefully, with our efforts, we are expecting an influx of new locators this year,” he said.
Jordan said beyond the competitive swings and putts, the AFAB Administrator & CEO Golf Tournament provided a relaxed environment where executives and business leaders built personal connections transcending corporate boundaries.
He said the event is also a great avenue for GNPD to strengthen its CSR programs in the province.
As a platinum sponsor of the tournament, GNPD provided a major contribution for the chosen beneficiary of the event — the SOS Children’s Village in Mariveles.
